Starting Wednesday, November 26, Brampton Transit is introducing Argo fully electric on-demand pilot service in the downtown Brampton area. With Argo, BT says it’s “making it easier than ever to take Brampton Transit and GO Transit with PRESTO.”

Argo is a fully electric mobility service that connects to the Brampton Transit network in the downtown area. Using the Argo Transit app, the service connects you with fully electric Argo vehicles near your door for a standard PRESTO fare. Argo’s Smart Routing™ system combines your trip with others headed in the same direction.

You can pay your fare on Argo vehicles through PRESTO abd current Brampton Transit PRESTO fares apply. Cash and paper tickets will not be accepted, though all other forms of Brampton Transit fare media remain valid, including transfers.

Argo operates in the service area that the map outlines Mondays to Fridays from 5:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. No service is available Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

You can download the Argo app to register to ride. Access will open gradually, and as a result, each rider’s start date may vary. The app is available on the iOS Apple Store and the Google Play dtore.
